ViViD USCIS Case Helper privacy
Updated October 2, 2026. This independent browser extension helps you import case records from your signed-in MyUSCIS account into the ViViD case dashboard. It is not affiliated with USCIS.
What the helper accesses
Only when you press an import button, the helper reads IOE receipt numbers visible on a MyUSCIS account page or already saved in the dashboard. It requests the corresponding case API responses through your signed-in MyUSCIS tab. These responses may contain names, receipt numbers, case events, and other case details. The extension does not read passwords or authentication tokens.
Where data goes
The helper sends each response to the case dashboard running in your browser. The dashboard stores imported profiles, receipts, and raw case responses in this browser’s local storage so you can revisit them and compare updates. The extension does not send case information to the developer or a developer-owned server, sell it, or use it for advertising. The hosted dashboard downloads static application files from Cloudflare; case data stays in the browser. Browser backups, shared devices, and other extensions may have access to local browser data.
Your controls
You can clear a case’s saved API data, delete a case, or delete a profile in the dashboard. Clearing browser site data also removes its saved library. Sign-in is handled by MyUSCIS; you can sign out there at any time.
Use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements. The helper does not request access to Google APIs.
For help, use the case dashboard.
